Enjoy the pleasure of sharing poems with one another, exploring their meaning and the stories that lie behind them.
Poetry takes many forms and the variety is wide, some humorous, some serious. Some of us haven't read nearly as much poetry as others and that's not important, the pleasure is in reading poems, spotting the moments of beauty, feeling the meaning in a single phrase.
We meet once a month to read and discuss our chosen poems, we have coffee and laugh a lot! We then pick a theme for the next session such as sonnets, humorous poetry, nature, or you can just a pick something you like.
